Scott's introduction to woodworking was junior high school shop class.  But  it wasn't until the early 90's when master furniture maker Albert Williams gave him a piece of walnut from Pisgah National Forest that he rediscovered his passion for woodworking.

Since then, Scott has been making furniture, boxes, and turned pieces in cherry, walnut, and maple.  More recently he's included exotic woods in his boxes and his new favorite furniture wood is "bubinga" or African Rosewood.
